Biomet offers a unique toolbox for complex primary and revisions knee surgeries.
A well executed knee revision with a successful result for the patient depends not only on the skill of a surgeon performing the surgery, but also on the harmonious interaction of three additional components:
* A bone cement having a composition with an effective concentration of the appropriate antibiotic to treat infections.
* A clinically proven knee implant.
* For two-stage revisions, a system of spacer moulds designed to provide the surgeon with the possibility of customizing an antibiotic loaded cement spacer for a specific patient.
